A paper shredder you turn by hand. No plug and no batteries — you feed in a sheet, turn the handle, and it comes out in narrow strips.

What it does

  • Cuts paper into narrow 3 mm strips.
  • Needs no electricity: our supplier states it requires no batteries and no power outlet. You turn the handle.
  • Sized for A4 — the size of ordinary printer paper.
  • For bills, invoices, bank statements, slips and other paper records.
  • Compact enough for a desk, a study, a classroom, a home office or a small workplace.

What it will not do

  • One sheet at a time. Our supplier's instruction is to shred a single sheet for best performance.
  • Paper only — not plastic cards, not metal, not staples, not clips.
  • Strip cut, not cross cut: it cuts in one direction, into 3 mm strips.

Cleaning. Our supplier says to use a soft cloth with mild detergent and water, never to immerse it, and to dry it thoroughly afterwards.

Delivery: 4 to 11 days. Our supplier takes 1–3 days to pick and pack, and 3–8 days to deliver from its UK warehouse. Added together that is 4 days at best and 11 at worst, door to door. Order just before a weekend or a bank holiday and it can take a few days longer.
